        This saturday meeting up with a few vws at the Dak Dak in Moorabbin at 10 am...if you have never been there...its a great vw themed coffee shop ...also on saturday a few of us are going to the drive in.

      Peter Britt here, new member, have only been to one meet so far at Geelong.
      Are you leaving on the Sunday morning at Warrigul Rd still, if so my swing buy on the way up from Mt Martha.
      Still have to try and talk the boss in to maybe going up the Sat arvo and staying, if that fails will most likely be at Warrigul rd at 7.30am om the 25th

    my first car 71 super bug in 1980 in Calgary Canada
    i used to deliver pizzas with it
    paid $2 per delivery, tank of gas back then was less than $8 it was such a cheap car to run ...such a great investment...i drove that car to Vancouver were i traded it in for an airline ticket...eventually my travels brought me to Australia
    Betsy is my 3 rd VW ...i bought her in 2002 from Emma in Lorne who had driven her to Darwin via Perth...she had bought it from someone who had also taken her around Australia
    while she has been in my care...she has taken me to far north queensland and many points in bettween...we have meet many good people including a few mechanics..i suspect we will meet some more before our time together is over

    interested in just about everything
