      We are now basing ourselves in Tassie finally, living on our boat OS but when in Aus will be based in Hobart. I will be down in a week or so and would love to catch up... Also, can you recommend a likely friendly mechanic to do the interstate rego transfer inspection with? Can't wait....

        Sorry about the delay. Best to get me on Facebook for quick respopnse. Vinaka (Fiat and Alfa)in Moonah did mine a few months ago and was very good. I had to get mine changed from 2 seat to 8 and they are seat installers and inspectors so got the lot done at once. Others are a bit hit and miss although we did get a really good guy at South Hobart Mobil Servo a couple of years back.

      Sorry Doc, didnt see the message till just now. I have been mentioning it to lots of people locally since we knew. I am not sure how you would do it around here as there are so few common places that the kombi owners frequent. I would suggest sending a large version of the poster to all of the suppliers of parts and mechanics and possibly a send copy in a jpg form to get them to post on their web pages. Might need a few extra line from memory for the out of stateers.

      Family very well. I have died a little inside about the fact I wont be able to make it this year. Had such a wonderful time last year and it has been so long since we have seen everyone. Missing you guys..Adrian
