    Recently bought a Purple 2L '77 Bay. I Love it.
    Did some troubleshooting - Indicators not functioning properly - turned out to be a bad connection due to corrosion on terminals.
    Brake lights not working - turned out to be wired back to front. Switched the wires on the terminals and fixed the problem.
    Dealing with Battery charge light being constantly on and battery not charging. Replaced Ignition switch, replaced Voltage Regulator - but no success. Went back to checking wires. Discovered Brown wire from alternator to the voltage regulator is burned out - insulation has all melted. I suspect this is the problem ;) Now trying to find a simple way to access the Alternator terminal without having to remove the Alternator...Might have to get a book...
