Yeah was off so i could weld in a patch to the step but back on as it bucketed down in the arvo.

I dont have a manual handy and i cant see how to remove the front doors, undone all the allen bolts but the spring thingy is holding it on ?
Cut the rust out and now i can see how the pieces meet, the inner step area is 1 piece and the outer step overlaps which is why it looks like a seam.
Personally i wouldn't because they will look out of place in a Kombi, you want to make sure that the seat height and width will work for you.
