    Default Kombi trailer

    Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has done a kombi trailer in the past? I guess it would mean butchering a bus, however would make a pretty cool camping trailer!

I have seen one for sale in a UK Camper & Bus magazine that even had a sliding door. Looked great.

Its the butchering part that scares me. I just couldnt do it.

The thought scares me too! However figure I would only need the lower back half of a wreck. I'm looking for a cool trailer to tow behind my T5 beach and figure that one with a nice torneau cover painted to match would be allright. Mainly for camping duties as I have an old box trailer for usual trailer duties.

Anyone know if there are any topics on this?

I started building a camper trailer using a kombi as a base.

After a long break, work is about to begin again in earnest.
