Default Noise insulation or sound deadening

Wondering if anyone out there has had some success with this stick-on sound insulation material that I have seen on a youtube clip or two? Does it really make much of a difference, what does it cost and where is the best place to get it? I've done a few searches without success but maybe I haven't tried hard enough. The other insulation is the batts that some owners stick on the insides of the kombi under the trim panel. Any tips would be appreciated. We've going to Valla and my wife would much prefer a quieter ride. So would I now that I think of it. Bryan
