    Default VW Mechanics Brisbane area

    Hi all,
I'm a new member and wanted to ask if anyone could recommend a VW Mechanic in Brisbane or surrounding area please. My son has an '84 model and will be travelling from Roma to Brisbane on 23 January and desperately needs some work done in regard to the thermostat.
Much appreciated if anyone has any info.
    Kind regards,
    curly48

Otherwise rodger at southside vw. Underwood area.

    Hi,

Just wanted to revive this thread and bring to light that roger from vw southside has now retired,(and sorely missed). No doubt it has left many of his customers searching for a new local mechanic for their beloved vw's. it seems there is not many known yesteryear vw specialists on the south side of brisbane- or is there?

in my quest to find a new one, I have been told of the following businesses. (if anyone can verify these and recommend or simply add to the list, please do so)

    -Browns plains mechanics
    -Leon Motors - Salisbury

    Many thanks

I was more than happy with the mechanical work undertaken by Leon's Motors when living in Qld.

    Hi Brad,
Unfortunately Roger @ southside vw has retired & as a result has closed the shop down ! I can also recommend Leons Motors @ salisbury , both Leon & Andrew are really helpful .

    Cheers Stu
