Report from Old Bar

Four Kombis so far at Lanis. Weather is fine, warmish with a slight breez.

Those of us who are keeping the nation going would like an update now & then.

12.40 Friday arvo and Lanis is starting to fill up with Kombis of all sorts. Wind is picking up but still warm

You're a champion Wirrah, i heard the rain this morning and rolled over for another 40 winks.

Well my run to Old Bar come to a halt...after our first stop we where off again and the convoy was off as i was the last one to leave something was wronge and sure enough i had lost all power just outside Morrisset so half hour later nrma was there he thinks maybe a cracked head so nuther half hour and i was outta there not the way i wanted to go tho

Sort of spoils the weekend.
I suppose you've just got to put it down to bad luck & add it to the book of Kombi experience. Did you get back home or did you hitch a lift north?
Hope it's not too bad when you've had a chance to look at it properly.

Yea Don was looking forward to it as my first convoy and getaway in the Kombi...
yea so wasent happy got a lift home by the towy.

To look on the bright side, the weather is probably lousy at Old Bar. So at least you're warm & dry.
Thank goodness for NRMA Premium cover, I hope.

Hi Mick, I wondered what had happened after leaving the stop at Mooney Mooney. I hope everything gets resolved. It was good to meet you at on the front step at Macdonalds and hope to catch up again one day.
