Default New Bus,73 Deluxe....

Well guys, I have made my latest purchase. Can't get it up here 'till the new year. A couple of minor things to take care of which will be handled by Kombi's In Paradise, will post some pics upon my return from a 2 day flogging down to Sydney on a boat.
Cam.
Thanks to all who replied to my wanted add.

Nice, she doesn't look nearly 34 years old... Are they sliding windows on the side-back?

If you don't mind me asking, what minor work does she need?

Van H, No not sliding widows but pop outs all round.
Minor work will be a couple of small rust repairs, remove old 1700 and replace with new 1800, then full respray to suit and the usual stuff, once I start I usualy can't stop.
We chose this one over a couple of very nice 71 lowlights mainly for the bigger engine as we will be towing an early caravan (roundy) I also like to do engine and paint myself so I know what I'm getting.
Cam..

Nothing better than waking up on Sunday morning with a hot coffee, morning paper and a car carrier pulls up at 0700 with your new project.

Really stoked with the condition, as I bought it sight unseen off the internet and went on previous owners word (credit to him) far better than expected.

Didn't waste any time and started stripping, only a small amount of welding to do, bottom corner of windscreen, battery tray, bottom of sliding door and one pop out base.

All the Deluxe trim and bling is there and interior is in good condition. 1800 needs work (drivable now) but will be replacing with 2L when times right.

Keep ya posted.
Cam...
