Hi Sarah

Great you made it home with a story to tell. Life doesn't have enough adventures anymore. The journey looses it's excitement because the outcome is so often a certainty ( not that anyone wants to break down) but it makes us conciously aware of the privilige in which we live as we can reflect on a simpler, slower time. Kombis are not made for the fast pace of life for me they are a reminder to slow down and think, take time to relax.

Enjoy the road ahead and enjoy catching up on some sleep in your own bed.

Cheers Alex

Steve at Kombi Rescue has been a bit of a guardian angel lately for travellers. He sorted out another Kombi driver up at Old Bar also.

Glad you made it home!

thats it, we grilled him for his late arrival at the German day in Canberra... typical story from Steve, saw a bus in distress and stopped to help..

Glad you made it home safely, Sarah. Steve Muller is a great guy, isn't he?! He's "rescuing" my bus this week. Well, I hope so! At least he'll get her going and then take her for a drive and tell me what I'm in for! He knows I'm on a budget....

Hope you enjoy many happy Kombi days ahead!

Baz

Good stuff Sarah[and Steve n Judy]
Dont get too worried
There is always something to learn on kombis and there is a bit of a learning curve with any new one .
Once you are familiar with its personality you will be comfortable and pride yourself on knowing what to do or what can wait

To paraphrase what some of the others have said

Enjoy the trip.
It all works eventually and the experiences and people met can be part of lifes little tapestry. Especially in a kombi

cheers
