Tested my new 12v/240v TV /DVD player today. Purchased a RV aerial and the aerial pole fits into the pole holder. Photos attached.

The gentleman in the middle photo is my dad, the original owner of Macca. He turns 96 next week and is still always interested on what i'm up to with the Kombi.

    That's an awesome photo!

If he is anything like my dear late 94yo father-in-law......... He'd be saying, "Why the Bl**dy hell would you want that for?"

But maybe your dad is more polite, and just thinks it instead.:)

No - he used to have a 12v TV years ago: in fact the aerial pole and the mount on the bull bar were his handwork. He happily sat in the back yesterday and channeled surfed for a while.

Love the tv, thanks for the antenna info. I have spent 2 months free camping in tassie and the thing we did miss was the tv sometimes, especially on bad weather days, entertaining a 10yo in a kombi is sometimes difficult space wise. We couldn't even get fm radio and dab is non existent in Tassie. The places we stayed couldn't even get mobile phone reception but others got local tv.??...We felt we needed the weather for storms etc for changing our campsite. Ps My mum grew up in ashgrove Aveā€¦Small world.
