been waiting for some time now to get my hands on a splitty always loved the samba's but a bit out of my $$ range so i found the next best thing a 15 window splitty from Wollongong, had a little trouble with the transport company etc but she is finally on her way now up to Port Macquarie arriving on the 24/04/12
rust in the usual places tho but nothing that cant be fixed with some TLC
    watch this space

I am going to put this out there. I would choose a 15 window over a Samba i reckon. Price is a factor but a 15 window tin top is kombi perfection i reckon. Especially with the lovely deluxe trim and a proper deluxe clock.
    Good.work.

Hey smithy - good luck with the 15 window.

Here's a pic of mine - if you're stuck for finding special parts etc - I may know where to get them - here's a pic of mine.

Also i know someone in Port Macquarie who has restored a 15 window - I think it's 99% there - so may be worth getting in touch with him too

    I would agree with Kai.

    That backyard looks suspicously Klaus's.

That floor looks very rotten - best of luck.

Otherwise as Brad said - 15 windows are the ultimate - those roof windows are just trouble.

    Cheers,
