    Hi DC Committee
Are there little rubber bumper stops that go underneath rear seat between pedestal?
    Regards
    Mark

Not Sure. I don't remember there being anything on my seat frame or the pedestal. Makes sense something being there though.

    Wayne / Gordon???

Hi Mark You came back to the real world. After travelling around the country side.
Yes is the answer to your question
It would be good when they have made them and especially if they do it correctly, they fit well like original.Fingers are crossed. We have to put a bulk order in if they are any good.

There are rubber stops between seat and pedestal.
I did get some - somewhere. They are the 'same' as the stops that go on the front drivers seat runners?

The ones I got did not fit well.

    Regards
    Gordon

It has been brought to my intention that my earlier post could or is misleading - - or WRONG!

I think they were called 'Seat stops' - and presumed they were used on the runners?
I just used them on the pedestal.

Cancell your order OSF - put it towards the 6 pack I owe you - Ist day of summer tomorrow :)

    Regards
    Gordon

    Hey Gordon,

Wayne has sourced some of these and I think is about to put in an order (or perhaps already has). Have a chat with him if you need some new ones and he might be able to include them in his order if he hasn't already processed it.

Ahhhh .... Yeah I need a few of them. Wayne is getting a few and ordering a few more, so I'll get them with him.

Re: 6 pack - I'll go you halves. I was hoping I'd have it on the road by now as well, but there have been a few of the normal and not totally unexpected delays getting a few things etc. so he's not back together yet. Shouldn't be too far off, though Christmas and New Year will probably get in the way.

    Ok a bit more progress.
Got a txt from Dave (Volkstrim) this afternoon. He's finished covering my front door cards.
I got him to just keep it simple, with a few top stitched lines and the same TMI#17 smooth red vinyl used on the sides of my seats. Should look good once the handle/winder etc all go back on.

Haven't decided what I'll do with the back cards yet. Original ones were painted (I guess that's what the coating was?).

Not sure if I'll paint them (in the same colour or complimentary colour to the front), or just get Dave to cover these as well. Covering them same as the front is the easy option, but in keeping a bit more true to the original (and with a nod to the commercial nature of the DC) I'll first ponder painting or other alternatives. Not in a hurry to do this however and will worry about this after getting it back on the road and driving it around for a bit.

Looking classy for sure:cool:. Go for the rear section trimmed the same colour, my money is on that. It's a sure bet. I'm going down that path with the back trimmed the same as front. Not 100% original but I think it look better then original.

    Hey Wayne
Are you going to put the rear cards back on with the original style door panel clips that go through the whole card (as seen in my pics above), or go with the same clips as the front cards (that you can't see)?

I’m in agreement with Wayne, it’s a show pony, don’t need to keep it too commercial/ original. When/ if required I’ll trim the rear.
Thanks for showing the new items, it’s stopped me buying stuff!!
    Cheers

    Hi OSF:
I will be doing the rear the same as the front, where you don't see the clips. I know I wanted mine as close to original as possible, which I will nearly achieve. That's one small adjustment I think will look better then original but doesn't detour to far from it's original origin of a commercial vehicle.
