No I won't! Knowing I had just missed you on the Sunday just makes it all that ouchie. I'll be at Yarra Valley in November and thinking of volunteering as well to get out my Kombi shell so to speak for the many more events to come :)

The guy who owns this didn't mess about. Instead of cutting 3 inches out of the pillars, he sliced it out of the body. Very time consuming and difficult to get right. An amazing piece of work........

    Custom dash and gauges........

And to top it off, a charged Corvair engine. Bet Frank had a hand in that........

Hope the pics were worth waiting for!!

We were there - we had to make an emergency dash home after lunch on Sunday - I hardly saw anyone from the camp at the show but there were so many VERY nice vw's there - my favourite was one of the Karmann Ghias the red one the owner was saying he just got it out of the shop its been there for ages - it was stunning (that's my dream Sunday afternoon drive in the country hair flying in the wind etc etc vehicle....lol i said dream...) you going to DOVW Aime? might actually try and remember to bring the usb if you are :)

Then its all sort of sideways and my hair flys into my mouth and then I can't see anything and then the crosswind comes ...lol you get the picture but I do like driving on a sunny day even if its just to get the illusion of a heater in the kombi :) (must remember to send away for that 2inch of wire that will make my fan work haha)

Had planned to go to DOTVW, but not going now. We're desperately short of staff at work, so they've asked me to work that day. As I'm currently not in a financial position to knock back time and a half for 8 hours, it looks like I'll have to wait for another event. We'll catch up eventually, so please hang onto that usb/disc for me.
    Aime.

oh bugga but hey work is work is money .... I'll just add the revolks vid on which I am currently procrastinating in editing all the wayward shots of the air and the bushes when the camera was obviously knocked :) Sure we'll catch up soon I need to go away to a sunny location and lie in the sun c'mon Victoria bring on the heat! Wend
