Lime Bay Tasman Penisula : 100ish Km from Hobart. Take Saltwater River turn off at Premaydena and follow signposts to Coalmines Historic site and onto Lime Bay (22k). small cost applies Composting toilets (not LD) BYO fire wood safe beach (shallow no rips) 30 + spaces (see Parks and Wildlife site for more detail) Nice walk through dryish lagoon to Sandunes (2k walk) BYO drinking water

Esperance River, Dover : 11k from Strathblane (just after Dover) off, just before the bridge. Follow road and make left hand turn at major inter section 3/4 way there. No charge, LD toilet Some sites very muddy in winter. Free firewood (can take some looking) Key available for gate to main campground from Forestry we have been told. BYO drinking water, plenty of water in the river for washing etc. Not suitable week days for families with small children, as log trucks use road at high speed. More info from Forestry website. They also have a good spot on road to airwalk, but it doesn't look like camping is welcome. They assured me it is. Parking area is small.

Gowrie park rodeo grounds. Flushing toilet, no charge, fires OK BYO wood, nice nature walk along the river. Lots of spaces. BYO drinking water. Close to Tasmazia (awesome day out for families)

    Pics to follow
