I Guess if you decide that you've made the wrong decision now it's time to start a new one... but at least you can do those things that you decided you'd do differently last time... Although I can't think why any of it would need to be done differently...

    Congratulations on the sale.

It has gone to Currumbin (spelin).
It arrived 20 mins before he was about to leave for his daughters birthday.
He took her and her 6 friends to a restaurant and got valet parking out the front.

Here are some pics of it leaving

Sorry about the quality , taken with my phone

Since it left I have had a couple of people calling me wanting to buy it.
    Both from QLD .
Now its gone I am having a break from the kombi scene, its been 10 years since I first tried to buy this one and ended up doing another inbetween , that went to Tassie then to the UK.

I wont be doing another, I would have to do it better than the last and I havent got the time, money or inclination.
Now its back to my first love, bikes, I will be doing the Triumph, in fact I spent all day Friday on it and really enjoyed it, welding, grinding, machining on the lathe, drills, ect loved it.
I also treated my self to a toy that arrives in a months time??

Hope you all enjoy your kombis and I will still wave, even in my Tranny.

I will hopefully see it getting around.

Keep those plates in your shed dave, there will be another. You won't be able to help yourself after the bike. :D

    Brad.

Will keep the plates, you never know??
I will lock this now, its served its purpose and I hope helped others along the way.
I am out of here for a while, I need a rest away from kombis.

Just reopened this thread as I have some news

For anyone interested in an engine
The builder of my engine Dave Pryor (B4 Performa) is now offering his service to build type 1 based VW aircooled engines, he is not on this forum but if you are interested PM me.
Will attach pics of my engine later

Reopened yet again, wont this thing go away.
Had some enquiries regarding my resto and the suspension I used.
Remember this isnt the only way to do a resto, I might have done things differant

Now this is not a professional resto, it was done in my shed with help from my mates, no professionals were hurt in the making of this van????
