Thanks 3 Amigos - forgot to add more pics. Just to give you a bit more info about the finish. Neville, Dallas and Ryan from Daltrim added some finishing touches to Percy. Positioning some LED lights throughout, that will glow blue against the circle hide trim, storage area under back seating, blue carpet to floors, drink holders, and a set of Sony speakers at rear, magazine pockets and also hydraulic lifting tail gate. They did a great job, I'm very happy with their work. Just waiting for Percy to come back home from the mechanic and auto electrician with a neat 1600 motor, 12 volt system, road worthy and then ready to hit the road for a test drive!
look out for saltwater and sand. thats my problem. tomorrow morn (after the surf)im going to visit spotlight to look into materials that are more resistant to these. i hope the wet wipes keep it clean for years to come. good luck!
Final Resto Thread For Percy HEY HEY HE'S BACK ... WITH A BRAND NEW ATTITUDE http://i582.photobucket.com/albums [IMG]http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss266/gloss61/LeFinalee010.jpg PERCY SPREADING HIS WINGS PLAYING WITH THE NEW SAFARI WINDOWS
The End Of Percy's Resto (for Us) LED LIGHTS (NOT A GREAT PICTURE) BUT GREAT EFFECTAND YOU FEEL LIKE GOING BACK TO THE DISCO DAYS. A BIT OF GRATUITOUS PROMO, BUT IT'S ALWAYS A TEAM EFFORT.
ALSO, BIG THANKS GARY (GOOD OL DAZE, BURLEIGH) FOR WORKING ON PERCY'S ENGINE. HE HANDLES WELL, COMFORTABLE TO DRIVE AND I THINK HE'LL TACKLE TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN WITH STYLE. ALSO JEFF (CLASSIC SPARKS) FOR SORTING OUT THE MAZE OF ELECTRICAL WORK.
That is one sensational Split. Really makes my mouth water. Well done guys. No amount of words will suffice for this resto!!
