Hey Sunny, I am very happy to say Sixties Rust in Brisbane, Hugh is a perfectionist and nothing is a problem. The work they do is unbelievable, sure you pay a bit more but the finished product will Long outlast the memory of the invoice.
It's worth a visit if just see the cars in progress ....

I got the German Supply one with the stainless steel pipe as thought if the rubber hose is crap then generally you should be able to find some in Oz if by chance there were any issues.

Things have changed over years since i did mine as was not available readily so had to go searching = to see it help someone now is reward for my efforts ...... better still amazing the brain recalled it all :D:p:eek:

Trinity is on the move, reassembly phase in full swing. Body work is 99% complete.
I was really hopeful for a July 1 fresh coat of paint, looking doubtful but shouldn't be far off. Engine and gearbox have been prepped ready to slot in thanks to some really talented people. So much to do.... but the fuel tank, hoses, sensor and gauges are done, thanks for the heads up Kahuna.

Looking awesome, I just learned from Tint-a-Car that if you want to tint the windows it's a better job done with the windows out.

Thanks Pomboy, I just had them polished to get the old tint off, and was wondering what was easier. Sort of makes sense to do it while there out.. good tip

    Second that.....

If you have the opportunity to tint the glass whilst out, it's def the better way to go. ;)

Finally, progress, can't rush these things I guess, no matter how much I am looking forward to the end result, rushing it and getting it wrong would be heart breaking.
Thanks to some really great help from Leon at Leon's Motors the running gear is overhauled and correctly assembled, I am happy to watch the professional's take charge.
Keeping almost everything original, nothing has gone untouched except choosing not to split the engine as it was running ok after a rekitting the Carbs. Suppension, gear box and brakes got a thorough makeover.

She now sits back at Sixties Rust, a running vehicle once again, although a little sparse in the way of doors and well anything in the car really. Paint is going on..
