    Hi Kombi Lovers,
I've a small addiction to Kombi dash boards/parts :D. Got 2 dash recently ...making four spares to get one fuel gauge:p. Old boy finally with working fuel gauge but silver faced:(. Can change that but just happy to have a working gauge after 15 yrs. Plenty of spare speedos & nacelles tho';). Just got 4 wheel rims for $50 so happy with that:) . Spares to overhaul & make neat my wheels.
    Cheers

Now I thought you said the resto was finished? o_O

I clearly remember reading that comment in your resto thread...... as you passed rego, and drove it again.

Apparently never :mad:as a few here have reminded me:oops:. But at least he's upgraded from resto to members rides which must mean less money out;). So surely that means 'old boy' is just an 'on going project:rolleyes:'. 'Maintenance' like we all do:D. Resto expensive....maintenance just a little (lot) bit of $ (they are kombiso_O).
    Cheers

So glad you now you fully understand Kombi ownership......;)

Yes, you’ve moved from dreamer (finished!), to realist......always more to do! :p

Always have Grantus. Been one with them for 38 years. Sorta understand the ethos;).
Just put in 2xUSB points to rear old lighter position:D. Kombi patience & determination. Just keep plodding on:D.
    Flashy:cool:...fuel gauge & USB ports:p:):D.
Who'd have thought a fuel gauge was a flashy thing other than a Kombi owner:p.
    Cheers

    Hi David H
Welcome to the real world of Kombi ownership.:p. Spare parts collector (hoarder) Hope you have two things when collecting parts,
1)Understanding co pilot (Lauren) which you have. :);)
2)Plenty of spare room. Not to sure at current residency. :confused:o_O
Did you need a black face fuel gauge? You need to collect all three to have a set.:p
Since you been collecting when is the second kombi coming home ? Then the real fun begins.

    Hi Kombi Lovers,
Bought some Tooleys spare barrels, pistons & rings (Mahle brand) for old boy yesterday just to have as spares:D. Christmas present for old boy;). Needed in maybe 5 yrs time? Is it me or the bus or lack of parts availability that drives the Plan B:rolleyes:?
    Merry Christmas

Definitely worthwhile building up a reserve of GOOD stuff
    Getting harder to find

With my T3 I am even thinking of SLOWLY getting bits together to have a spare donk sitting there for whenever

I thought you don't have much room.Front beam and little room don't really go together. Front beam must be a nice wall ornament then I take it.:D Just which room will it be hanging?;) Make sure you have good fixings when hanging.

    Hi David
I'm after a plastic gauge holder (nacelle) if you want to get rid of one, mine's cracked in the corners.

    Sure Rick,
Which one do you want? P1110159.JPG
Top one has heater decal & random horn button (no instruments included) & is from a 75. Bottom one is from a 72 also with random horn button & doesn't have the smooth rectangle for the heater decal.
    Cheers

It not a random horn button on the bottom one it's a random warning brake light.

    Hi Kombi Lovers,
Just put a nutTAG tracker ($40) on old boy & it works:). If he leaves his parking spot I get a phone alert & it's got 'real time GPS tracking'. So at least I'll know where the tracker is;). Gotta love apps:rolleyes: whatever they are! Thanks youngest daughter:D.
Cheers & all the best for a great 2018
