We have just come home from another great weekend spent with our kombi friends. We travelled down with Judy and came back today with Judy and Glen.
After all the talk about rain last year we were prepared for the worst but that couldn't have been further from the truth. We had beautiful sunshine all weekend and feasted on prawns and pizza all supplied for us.
This is the start of our trip, the one lone Queenslander
    [IMG]
Then we were joined by Judy and Mercy

This was the line up going to Bellingen markets on the Saturday

Some of the cars from the line up on Sunday, we missed quite a few because we left early to go into Coffs

No secret, the weekend was in the NSW coming events. This is a weekend put on by clubVW but severeral KC memebers attend. It is a very nice laid back event and at a perfect location.

I certainly will be attending the next one:)

    More Photos From Sawtell

I managed to snap a few photos from the very Sunny Sawtell over the weekend and what a great weekend!

Apart from breaking a right hand rear outer CV joint going up to Dorrigo via Waterfall Way (what a dodgy road that is - there was evidence of 3 large landslides that I saw from recent flooding) we had a great time and excellent weather.

Great people and a few very interesting Characters - congratulations to Ray Vanderkley and his co-horts for the organisation of the whole event and the Pizza.

Its on every alternate year to Valla and around the same time of year.

    Heres the photos:

Removing the Offending CV - We drove all the way back to camp and all the way home @ a more leisurely pace of 100km/hr with 3 wheel drive - what a car - a syncro will never leave you stranded!

    Thanks Steve.

I hope your dickie seat made it along its final journey with Michelle - she is a champion.

Beryl has one of those seats installed if you need some instalaltion tips.

Your new seat is in loads better condition though.

    Cheers,

Im crook at home with the flu so haven't been down to collect it,so its still in the safe hands of Michelle for the time being.
Yeah i've got a pretty good idea how its fitted but would love to get some installation tips when you've got a chance.

The top of the seat sits snug between the two front seats and is bolted to the seat partition with two very large domed head screws. I am sure you could get these screws or similar from a nut and bolt supplier.

The lower connections bolt onto the seat base beside the walk-through area - 1 on the side and one just under the seat.

Then all you need to do is get a lap seat belt and fit that - I am sure Roy can help you there.

    Cheers,
