Saw it in the car yard on our way to Deep Creek and couldn't resist a look. It had only just come in to the yard that morning and he had a price of $5900 negotiable. The paint that looks ok from the distance is crap. It is a home spray job and flat so assume its house paint or similar. Has no rear bumper, inside is rough. Body is rough with rust in usual places. Looks like a bit of bog on the left hand side and rusty sills. Jacking points didn't look good either I think from memory. Didn't even look at the mechanicals as I know jack poop about them. I didn't spot you - damn. We saw 9 kombi's on Saturday, you could have made it an even 10!
Oh and if anyone wants a look at it.. its in a car yard on Main South Road near Reynella (right hand side if you are coming from the city) and its a very pale green.
$5900, doesn't sound like a great deal, I guess its in a car yard tho hey. Spotted this lowlight this morning at War Memorial Drive car park:
Hi Vespa, That black kombi is generally down at semaphore in the car park along the esplanade. The owners name is hamish, good bloke to have a chat to!
the 69 looks awsome vespa mine to could look like that one day looks sooooo pretty Tanya Eternity 69 Low light
Another vote for Mt Barker homemakers centre. There was a blue microbus with a FOR SALE sign on it around lunchtime today. I believe it is an automatic. I unashamedly rushed back to my van and gave a timid kombi wave and smile.
My Guess is it was this kombi: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=7816338&keywords=Kombi&tsrc=allcarhome&__Ntk=CarAll&__Nne=15&__Dx=mode%20matchany&__D=Kombi&silo=1011&seot=1&__sid=125BFAC0B594&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%20901&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&__Qpb=true&__Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&Cr=0&__Ntt=Kombi&trecs=3 am I right...? I know that bus is from Mount Barkers
another couple - Hotel Royal at Torrensville (nice looking metallic green lowlight terrible photo): Harbourtown (normally I'd walk over but we were in a rush, trust me, it's there and it looked like little miss sunshine):
ikea Adelaide ikea AGAIN looks like if your going to buy flat pack furniture, your going to need something roomy to move it in: If you dont have a kombi, I suggest some roof racks:
