We couldn't resist adding to our kombi portfolio, so we can now add a 72 low light, that needs lots of work.
It has a 1600 engine that starts first go and the gear box is no problem, but as far as beauty goes it needs a bit of work.
We had a bit of a dilemma about where to put it, so out came the chain saw and it was good bye to my golden cane. With a few panels of our side fence removed it was all systems go, so I now have a kombi as a garden ornament. ( just what I always wanted)

    It was on Kombi club
The previous owner ran up the back of a car, it needs a whole replacement front end. We couldn't resist a low light

Ha ha ha! Nice to see that you and Adrian couldn't help yourselves again... ;)

I've decided that it's an illness. Seriously. :)

So is this one a long term project, or something you're going to get stuck into right away? Oh, and you realise that it is going to need a name too. All in good time, I guess.

He has not been graced with a name in 20 years so we will have to give him/her one soon. I do like the previous suggestion of Mr Crumples.( this one is Adrians so he will pick the name)
There will be no rush on this resto, The DC is next in line when the funds become available, money is going on my kitchen at the moment.

Beautiful 72, looks the part and doesn't look rusty, but someone has had their nose hit in.

    Good luck with it.
