Funny you mention it! I have just booked there for four nights. I will put up a review on the forum once I have stayed there.

Okay so we ended up staying at Byron holiday park and I wanted to give a run down on the park considering its dog friendly (cause there isn't any beach camping spots that are dog friendly )
So the facilities there are reasonable and are clean, always had hot water for the showers. You are only about a 5 min drive into the centre of Byron. You have beach access which is about a 5-10 min walk that is dog friendly , I did go swimming but isn't patrolled and can be ruff surf with rips so don't recommend going out very far, however there isn't many people on the beach which is nice. The service at the park was nice and friendly. The pool there did look like it was fairly old and a little on the green side for my liking. Overall I liked the park considering its close to town, beach and dog friendly, I would stay there again.

We just stayed at Mullumbimby rugby club. Dog friendly, river frontage, average amenities (change rooms basically) but clean. Power if required. Easy run to Byron, although not so good in Xmas holidays! Read that as ....! Busy!

Handy to know, thank you. Mullum is a lovely little village, lots of fab cafe's and Op Shops, bit alternative and funky. Well worth a camp over and so close to Byron.

Don't think I could convince my Husband to stay there as the lucky sod works in Byron and it's surrounds.
