Armour Plate glass Id help?

    Don't think the seat is original. Seat base and back should have integrated mounting tabs. Attached pic is of a front seat base sitting on a DC back seat pedestal. Note the mounting tabs that would fit into the seat mounts in your ute. 012 (Custom).JPG

    My thoughts were along the same lines, i thought it would have to have tabs that slide into the slots.
    Thanks for all your help Ted2, you have answered alot of questions for me.

    Regarding the top hinge apparently you say there is a date somewhere?

    the seat doesn't look correct, the base shouldn't have those thick metal support bars. It should be only springs with thin wire supporting it.
    heres a pic of my 62 seat back with the cover taken off it to compare yours with,

    the seat in position with the original seat cover, yours will have a hump in the middle section of the seat .

    heres a pic of a date stamp in the door hinge bracket that has pressed welds to hold the hinge on for you to look for a manufactured date.
