    Hi folks

Australia Post have produced a sweet little advertising video featuring the adventures of a family of four in their 75 kombi camper. Definitely worth a look. Simply google “Australia post kombi” and you will find it.

    Cheers, Dennis

    Thanks, Roo

I was relying on someone chipping in to simplify the process.

The Badger family live in Helensburgh on the Coal Coast near Wollongong. Keenan, Amber and the two girls are a beautiful family and enjoy their VW's.
Last year they toured aroung Australia in their 75 Camper "Summer" and this was beautifully captured by Amber's photography skills, where the photos are displayed on her Instagram page.

Maybe its an attempt at a " feel good" excuse why your parcel went all around Australia before being sent back to sender.?

Aw come on people, lets stop bagging Oz Post. If what you say is true, then perhaps the US Postal Service and US Customs should follow suite, for according to the tracking data, and subsequent investigation, one of my parcels left the US mid west, got to the west coast via USPS and was then handed to US Customs. Then the saga started. Assigned to a numbered and locked US Customs transit bag the tracking number showed it going to South American, back to the West Coast, then off to Japan and back to the west coast, off to Europe then back to the west coast, then, ahhhhhhh off to Sydney Australia. Lost in space????????? No, my parcel never left the US but had to wait in the departure lounge until called for it's turn in the numbered locked transit bag. Once mobile and cleared through Sydney customs, Oz Post did it's job without delay.

Must ask Grantus how his head rests got on (Canberra = Sydney).

    Agreed Rob,

I’ve got a small parcel, (3.5kgs), in Hawaii that has now been cleared to move on.......it was sent from Brickwerks in the UK, but has travelled via Germany, then Kentucky US, then Hawaii......may turn up one day in Oz. :p

And yes, the headrests arrived from Canberra to Sydney, without any transit damage....so all good! :)

Will wait and see if anything improves now the previous parasite who could only increase prices, shed jobs, fatten his pay packet and reduce services has gone.

Suggesting we have to pay to have a parcel delivered when full postage has already been paid was typical stupidity.

It has taken about a week for aus posted mail to be delivered.
Takes 4 days or less from england .

Some parts I was hanging for had tracking that showed 2 days to reach gumpie where it arrived on Thursday.
On Monday avo I fronted post office about non delivery .
No twit could be bothered even leaving a notice for small parcel to pick up.
It was still sitting in the back of post office.
Enquired as to delay. Didn't seem perturbed.
Think it was meant to be an overnighter as well.

Since I have a subscription with Australia Post themselves direct from them that is supposed to be registered but every so often does not (and I still get charged for it) and since the local "posty" delivers our mail to the wrong address quite often (and we get other people's mail). And since I've lost count of missing items and long delays in local postage...

    I have no comment.

Mail Re-direction when you move house is another area of failure  ...... it's hit and miss what they label for re-direction  - we got 1 postie who is also ex NSW and when he's on our run great service to us & he told me that the posties are also issued with a list of delivery variation like re-directions and they need to check and note that if label not affixed @ sorting centre (or missing) they pick it up but it's evident they ignore it & deliver to old address

Amber is a member on here also. She helps drum up the numbers each year for the coal coast cruise to Berry. Such a great clip and awesome family.

Good clip. Well put together. Great Story.
Pretty sure it won't prove Aust Post to be any better though.
