What a great day,I want to thank everyone who climbed out of a warm bed at such an ungodly hour to all be on time.It was a fantastic turn out 16 kombi's in all plus Col in a non kombi.
Australia zoo made us feel very welcome and brought along a few characters to brighten up our kombi's. They have asked us back in November but I will post details in another thread.
It was great to catch up with old friends and to meet lots of sunny coast members.
The highlight of my day was to get up close and personal with a macaw and the fact they had a licorice stand (I am addicted)
Only six of us decided to go into the zoo and got a pleasant surprise when they decided due to the low numbers not to charge us. Sorry about all the pictures of Wilbur at the end but he was parked first so he got lots of attention. Amanda and Dave from the zoo have also taken photos so they will send me some through if they have any good ones.
Again thanks to all of you for making it a great day....Michelle
We even had a sign made up for us

Still on the Sunny Coast but heading down to Deans soon.

Thank you to Kellie and Glen for putting us up last night and making sure we got to the Zoo on time this morning:D It was really great to meet you at last and also the other Sunny Coast members.

Had a lovely time in the Zoo with Gerard's Sandra acting as our guide.

I'm with rest of you...buggered but happy.

    Great Day...thanks

I have just been sent through lots of Photos taken by Amanda at Australia zoo so I will post some for you.
    Amanda also wrote

Thanks so much for everything with getting the Kombi Club members out at the zoo for today's Great Garage Sale. It was a fantastic addition to our event and our patrons and zoo staff loved the kombi's. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all of your members who attended the day- we hope they had just as much fun as we did. I will send through the photos as soon as I have them downloaded to this computer. I've had a look on the forum from today and I see some of the members have already loaded up images!

Excellent photos guys. Makes me feel like I was there myself, except that I was still snoozing at 8.30am today. Not that I'm wanting to rub it in or anything.... ;)

Think all of your "kids" look very cute all together. Go KC - we rock.
