This is Amanda the other half of the team that organised the day and made us feel so welcome

Kellie Bee you did just pass onto Amanda your thanks for the day because she is reading all the posts on here.

After I have spoken with Roy we will post the details of Steve Irwin day in November where our presence has been requested again.

Any chance it will be at a "normal" kick off time?!

Ruby wants to know if any of you saw Bindi? She's her favourite at the moment.

No Bindi is up north at the moment for a month catching crocodiles with her mum. They will be present in November if you come to Steve Irwin day.
Sorry we cant do much about the start time we need to be set up before the people arrive. At least you live closer we left home at 2.15am this morning.I will check with Amanda if it will be the same time.

    Luke,
Yes is a lowlight thing, the windscreen wipers go the "european way" while later models go the "australian way".
There are ADR rules which cause wipers like these to have a problem with rego due to the coverage so often have extended blades to cover window. Would not think too many inspectors would ever pick it though.

Looks like a great turn out but I am with others...too early!

Good to see the Zoo apprecipated the KC turning up.

Maybe we can get even bigger numbers in November if the start time is a little easier on the snooze button.

Hey, can we get something happening at Taronga Zoo? Australia Zoo is just a little bit too far away and it looks like you had so much fun. I love big furry dress up characters! That crocodile was brilliant - I can just imagine the Cancer Council's Sid the Seagull running away from him :)

Sorry we couldn't make it, Peachy was picked up on Saturday and I had a few things to do before she went.

Looks like a great turnout from KC members, well done guys

A big thanks to Michelle for organising this with Australia Zoo

Unless ..... if it's an Import!

No not quite just a lowlight thing!

That's if........ unless you have an Import rather than an Australian-assembled kombi!

    Luke,
Yes is a lowlight thing, the windscreen wipers go the "european way" while later models go the "australian way".

Hope to post some pics either today or tomorrow ...... depends what time I get home from Brisbane today.

    Cheers

Awww, how good did your day look yesterday??? That's awesome. Congratulations to Michelle for doing all the hard yards from the KC end of things.

It's a shame that I was down in NSW and missed coming along. I'll definitely try and get along to the next Aussie Zoo event. Hopefully the dates don't clash with anything.

Oh, and bring on the rest of the pics! :)

    Julian.
