Got a phone call late to ask if we would like to put some VW's in the Bangalow Billy Cart Street Parade (NSW)....
Lots of car clubs were there, but it was the first time VW's were asked to attend...
Along with my Chrome Goddess, on short notice this is what we got together....:)

  4. I actually won a few events at Bangalow quite a few years ago in the billy cart derby. Made it to the final and finished runner up or something like that. got beaten by a Billy Cart designed and sponsored by an Engineering shop!! talk about serious LOL

This year was one by 2 high school boys from Bangalow who used to practice at about midnight most nights (when no traffic was on the road) ...
They designed & practiced til they got it right racing down Bangalows main street.
After the pub closed we used to stay behind & watch them come out & play...was so funny to watch..
Only the locals new what they were up to...
