    Hi all,

Had a great day at Berry today - great atmosphere and fantatic weather. Just uploading photos to Photobucket now. Will get at least a few up tonight and maybe the rest tomorrow.

Professor Plum is far from ready to meet the public but I was able to attend as a passenger in my mate's kombi - next best thing I guess to get the kombi smell and dat dat into my veins.

There were 40 kombis at Berry and about the same number of beetles with a couple of notchbacks and fastbacks. Every vehicle was different and interesting in its own way. So many ideas!

It was also great to meet up up with Chiliwilli (Kieren), my first live Kombi Club meetup  and see his kombi in the flesh. He's done a terrific job, and his kombi looks much better in the flesh. Great work son:)

    Anyway, stand by for photos...........

    John

Cool pictures - love the 70 low light - think that might be the new color of Harry.

Looks like a great turnout and loads of fun.

Just might have to do that next year.

My brother lives opposite the showground, and said that he could hear the rumble of the VWs arriving way before they actually got there!

He's not a huge fan, but his 5 year old daughter is, so they went over and had a great look around.

He rang me saying I would have loved it, and was describing what the Kombis looked like and asking if I knew who they all belonged to. :) Not the easiest thing to do over the phone 1,000kms away.
