    Looking very nice.
Can I ask where the nudge bar came from?

I bought the bar from a lady called Cath who lived in Vic (outer Melbourne suburb).
She bought the bus (Moby) years ago with the bar on it.
Not sure why she was selling the bar as she still had the kombi.

Cath and her bus appear in this cook book

    Thanks.
Does it have any brand / manufacturer marks on it?

    Here she is

So I'm not sure exactly the origin of the bar except that it was made by Bocar.
It does remind me of a bull bar of Holden HZ one tonner.
Anyway it wasn't a good fit so I spent some time modifying it and also changed it slightly to make it look like it was originally made for a Kombi and to have the spare wheel behind it (you can see the cradle and holding fixture holes for the spare in the pic of Blitz)
Too show the modifications would take a new thread in a different area of this forum (there's more than 20 photos of the work)

That headlining setup between windows and poptop is super clean - well done

Great job Rick;). Nice to see blitz out of the shed:). For others I could point out so many special things about this Kombi but will let Rick tease you slowly:oops: if he wishes to disclose all Blitz's special things. As a teaser, from me to you peeps, where is the pop top base?
Great credit to you Rick & now after cupboards (less than 4 yrs?) time to get out & cruise:D.
    Excellence personified:D:D:D.
Can't wait to see what you do with the interior.
    Cheers

    I think both describe Blitz.
But right now it's Do Some More
and when it's finished it'll be Done So Much.
And my daughters recon I'm Dead Set Mental.
Although like you it'll be needed for a wedding next year for one of them.

Awesome Rick. Glad to see you’re enjoying the fruits of your efforts! Are you up for a cruise soon or are there still some bits and pieces to do before you get there?
