My retinal damage attests to it not being the medical executive Ward, but the other one. The rocket scientist. The pink mumu mechanic. I hope Sami's counseling went well. It's never easy to recover from seeing those things.

    It was me!

We have been overseas and haven't logged on since the Bus Stop so just catching up on the goss now.

It was the other Mr Ward (kafpaul - now Elwood) that the Port News quoted not my long lost relative Jon Ward. I say two Mr Ward's is a good thing especially when they may have a famous relative in the late Fred Ward aka Captn Thunderbolt! Can anyone else on here lay claim to such fine lineage?

After the Bus Stop I emailed the photo to the paper and was suprised when they rang me and Melissa for some words to go with the photo. I thought they would quote Melissa more than me as she is the expert on all things Kombi Club. I might be a "medical executive" but my dislike for public speaking/interviews of any kind once again came through in the quotes they published. Sorry if I offended anyone. :(

Don't worry Jon I also have been known to frock up on occassions but definately not in pink! But that discussion is for another forum not this one. ;)

When we were in Thailand recently we did some Kombi spotting and hopefully will soon have a photo of a pink and white 77 to post. This one was at the Phuket night markets and had its rear sections concerted into a drink stall complete with lift up roof and fold down sides (bit like a milk bar). Looked really cool.

    cheers Paul

There used to be "locked wards" at Rozelle Mental Hospital in Sydney.
    Does this mean anything? :p

I am a direct maternal decendant of Queen Jinny of Broulee(important in our lineage apparently), married an ex convct named Piety from Plymouth and had 13 kids. I come from one of the girl's line. No Wards to speak of though sorry!
