    Hi All,

Lou and I are heading to Griffith in Feeda our '77 Campmobile over Easter but staying with family due to the no pets policy (and because they feed and water us!). Keen to join up for the get together at IOOF park on Saturday Morning, but also anything else we'd be welcome at. We'll be heading home to Melbourne on Monday so looking forward to the convoy.

    Cheers,

    Brendan.

A wee note of little consequence but here in confirmation of my booking.

Such an event full gathering when I consider previous postings over the last 12 months.

Retrospective toasting and salutation marking Aime's 60th birthday.
The remarkable and whalesom Woz birthday of unknown years.
The completion of Paul 77 50th year on the planet juxtaposing on his wedding anniversary.
Jennifer Lane abandoning her Nullarbor nest for Griffith flavoured civilisation.
Dingo strategy/ Wes the welder emerges from cyber hibernation quite possibly with mortgage/new career and query possible "squeeze"….For what else could have driven this man to such extreme behaviour?
Nathan will arrive proudly bearing the fruit of his loins if not a tad tired.
Ruth of WestFam claim will be towing her new concubine who camps under the stars, 5 to be exact.
Jo Bell in her beautiful little red Kombi Hood possibly with consort if he's not working?
SynByn piloted by Steve D a gain menaces on the track and in the camp.
Lorraine's Andy similarly celebrates his date of manufacture.
PeaceFam who makesT #'s fashionable with her partner Peter another bus stop virgin.
Karenthe Kombi makes a first up guest appearance.
Another virgin in Ninga complete with apprehensive occupants.

Let us also have regard to the immigrants Mordred and the fair Guinievieve accompanied by KombiWobble piloted by the ever determined Karine who will be setting sail from that distant Taswegian shore.

Surely a Motley Crue and that will just be the thin end of the wedge/flying T3.

And what of that shy cephalopod, Squidy or the eternal ambassador for all flying wedges.....Grantus? Where is the vermillion "BierDoc"?

Who will feature in the signature event…… The races run with an iron fist by Al pal?

These questions and more press heavy around the nation.

    The countdown begins in earnest!

Your alert correspondent JD in downtown Adelaide:cool:

    To JD and others,

Sadly, I must convey my apologies for my non attendance, to this years event.....

I have two clients, who are both having 2 1/2 week Easter breaks this year, (1 before and including Easter, and the other from Easter onwards), and, "While the surgery is closed and we are away, can you do all this work for me?"

So I start on Monday 7 April, and my next day off is 6 May. :(

Can't even do a long day trip, to drop in on you bunch of nuts!

Enjoy, as I'm sure you will, and keep the pics posted......:)

See you on the big island!

Important Please Read - Payment Required

I can sense the excitement building :) Now for some practicalities......

Peter has asked me to post the following information re cost.

On Saturday afternoon the convoy will head out to Lake Wyangan for Coffee & Cake.

Dinner on Saturday night is at the Griffith Leagues Club. It will consist of a delicious three course buffet, tea & coffee. It goes without saying that spaghetti is on the menu  There will be alternate options for vegans and others with diet restrictions [if you haven't already done so please let me know]

A bus will transport you from the Caravan park to the Club and return.

The price for all these activities will be $40 per person [ 5 to 11 yrs $15 ].

The club needs final numbers at least a week before Easter so keep an ear out for a phone call from Peter to discuss payment options. He doesn't have everyone's numbers so I will also be sending some PMs.

My number is 0428 630 676 so please give me a call if you have any questions.

    Cheers

    Doody
