    Gday groovers!

What a magnificent Easter weekend! Paul, Gracie and I had been anticipating this bus stop since attending last year at Griffith and thought even if it was half as good as last year then we would still have a blast. I was a little anxious prior to the trip, being such a distance to take an 8 week old baby. Gracie’s travelling not a concern because she travels so well in Vera and much to our delight, Joseph behaved wonderfully also. As for the wet weather, well that just adds to the memories we will talk about for years!

I have to tell you, Paul and I were quite excited to be showing off our little bambinos to our kombi family and felt overwhelmed by such kind comments and gestures. We are very appreciative to a those gorgeous KCers who gave us special gifts (some cleverly handmade) for Joseph’s arrival. To those people, it brought us such a happy feeling and again, thank you! Our kids are so lucky to have such lovely people care about them.:)

We would have loved to have more of a chat to everyone but due to the weather making it difficult to keep dry and socialise and the ‘milkbar’ being open all hours, time simply went too fast. For those same reasons we missed out on getting as many photos and videos as last year. If a few people wouldn’t mind if I used some of their images and maybe I could get Ann Maree to help me sort the youtube music copyright issues then I would enjoy making another montage of the weekend similar to the Griffith video? Disappointed Doc doesn't have a censored feature this year...:D

Lastly, another big thanks to Lorraine and Andy for all their time and effort that made this years bus stop as good as it was and to everyone who contributed to it in any way - Melissa, Judy and no doubt many more. Thank you to Nick and Andrew for organising Lorraine’s appropriate gift and Col and JD for money collections in the rain.
Thanks to the KRAS mob. You guys were not surprisingly very entertaining and although the time we got to spend with you was quite limited, we left with many rich memories!

We had a blast and can’t wait for our next meeting with you amazing Kombi groovers (hopefully Old Bar). Until then, happy cruising!;)

Chrissy, Paul, Gracie and Joseph x

Uncle JD, we return the thanks. Gracie in particular seems quite fond of you. Don't know why... we don't think much of you. :p x

We are still talking about how amazing our first Bus Stop weekend was! Kerry and I had the best time, met some amazing peeps! laughed so hard at the gala dinner! Loved the way local police officer interacted with the loonie crowd! :)
Huge thanks to Lorraine and team for putting on such an awesome weekend! without you we'd have been sitting at home for sure.
Hope to see you all at Old Bar

Likewise Mish and thanks for comforting Joseph for me! Some chores are done much easier with two hands. :)
Your photos are great so to put them in the montage would be wonderful. I'll make sure you are credited for them, although I think most people would know by the quality that they weren't taken by me anyway...;)

    Cheers,
    Chrissy :)

Just pulled into the driveway on my way home from Busstop 2015! Brian and I got a little distracted and ended up in Wooli for a week. This will be the first indoor sleep in over two weeks. I may not be able to do it. Wonder if the neighbours would mind me sleeping in the carport????!!!!!!

I feel like that when I get home and often want to go down to the garage and hop in a kombi when I have trouble sleeping.
