Having a read about the place and I think I have discovered something...................

Been having "troubles" with air in the cabin "not working properly"
    Thought I had buggered cables

Now the top one is demister
The bottom one the down draft control

    But I always had air?
Was guessing the front flap must be buggered...............

    Then I saw this..........
    http://vanistan.com/cabin_air_control.html

Seriously..................... you cant "shut off" the air flow in a T3?

Vanistan has some nice mods. If I get the turbo I will need one of his oil cooler set ups.

So which leaver shuts the off?

or does the demister shut off the demister and the bottom one shut off the down?

If you shut off the top lever (windscreen), bottom lever (feet), and manually close the two dash vents that stops most of the air doesn't it? I always assumed it was just air leaking around the 30 year old foam on the air box that was left after that.

Probably to stop air leaks in ones that don't seal in winter in the US.
