    Hi Guys,

Pleading ignorance here. Road Runner is at the mechanics and he has told me there is pitting on/in? my calipers and that's where my fluid leak has come form. He is waiting on a rebuild kit and will look further when rebuilding. His main concern is if the pistons are damaged. He hasn't been able to source a caliper in Oz and is reluctant to modify another T2 caliper to fit my T25.

As a non-mechanical female, does this all sound right to Kombi mechanically savvy people out there? How many hours labour would be involved. As I already had a spare set of brake pads, bearings and disks for the front, I'm getting these fitted at the same time so need to allow for that.

    Thanks for any advice/help

    Sharon

caliper seals can be put back in if they are shot so that the calipers do not leak. Ensure that piston is not seized -rusty or pitted pistons will not work.
