Any tricks here? I've spend all day and still cant get those bloody cargo doors to line up!! All gaps all around the doors are 2mm and level but the middle swage line is 10mm out.

In the door opening, are the diagonal measurements the same, going by what you have there, either the bottom has been pushed back slightly or the top has been pushed forward

Yes they are the same, probably just the pic. All the gaps are pretty much on 2mm gap and level. If I drop the high door down then the other ends go out of alinement.

If you bend both bottom hinges foward or both top hinges back slightly, that should align swag

I did that to start with and all it did was put each door out of alignment with the gaps along the sides and top/bottom. I'll have another look at them tomorrow over it tonight ;)

Spend all day again and still no joy on the gaps, swage line out by 3mm which is not too bad but bottom rear gap is 10mm while the top is 1mm will try again tomorrow.

Hi Niko, I've got a similar issue with my doors, how did you end up getting them lined up?

    Cheers

Silly question but did you measure each door? Maybe the swage line is actually wrong on the door itself. Measure from the bottom or the top of each door to the start and stop of the swage.
It could be that in the last 50 years somebody decided to reskin the doors with a donor door and stuffed it up somehow.

ended up chopping the hinges off and rewelding them back on with the doors in the right spot.
