My 72 bus has a CE transmission installed in it, I know at somepoint I will get it rebuilt as it jumps out of 1st gear, not a big deal but it will get fixed, when I don't know.

I recently picked up a CO transmission as a spare, which seems to be in good working condition, question is which would you use in the bus long term? or would it matter?

Currently i'm thinking of putting the CO in and getting the CE rebuilt then swapping back, the only differences I can see so far is the CE having "ears"

As for internals I may change from original, the engine is currently standard but I know it will be made bigger in the future, so will change depending on what the new engine requires.
