That is a brilliant idea! :)

Seems a list to know whether what a bus is advertised as, is actually what it is, would be very helpful.

Right down to the basics, ie years of lowlight production, deluxe model differences etc.

Sometimes even the sellers are unsure of what a bus is, and may infact advertise it to be something it's not.....

Any experts here, up to the challenge of compiling the list? :)

Just posted this about deluxe lowlights on another thread. Only a general rule though

If it is deluxe It usually has the following things, so check for:
    - Vents into the rear from under the dash (Should be there)
    - Vents underneath the rear seat coming from under the car. (Pipes should be there but the vents might be gone)
    - Chrome trim around the bulge line. (Usually there)
    - Trim around the front vent cover. (Usually gone)
    - Deluxe trim on bumpers. (Varies if it is gone or not)
    - Black trimming around front seat mount backs. (Usually there)
    - Clock in right hand slot of instrument cluster. (most likely gone)

Pictures would also help too I think. Alas I don't have a deluxe lowlight to take photos of.

    Hi there,
I am not replying to your story, but what I would like is some advise on selling a Kombi that I have inherited a few weeks ago. It is a 1974 Kombi, still runs and is registered as well. It has a push up roof , tow bar, bull bar etc. It is currently located in NSW Uralla. If anyone is interested to buy it let me know.

Thanks for this ? We are looking for a kombi and I think we can use what we feel is relevant on the list..doesn't matter what the owner thinks as we are the customer....do you really think people only sell cars to get rid of problems ? I think some people have a change of lifestyle..we did when we sold our first Kombi.

Ive been trying to find how I look at and print the checklist, but can't seem to find how I do it?
