hey guys, my T3 was overheating and leaking fluid and I've located the problem I'm just trying to find a part.
I'm in Caringbah searching for the coolant distributor piece plastic bit with three connections for hoses on it, the heating hose plastic connection bit eroded and snapped off. Any help or information would be awesome.
    Cheers jye.

I think it’s designed to fit all the varying models from 1986 - 1991.

    From their website:

VW made several different designs of this tower between 1986 and 1991. At RMW we have created a product that fits every 2wd van from 1986 to 1991. This makes things easier when trying to figure out what part VW used when they built your van.

Vintage Vee Dub Supplies in Campsie was selling them in stainless. Also try VW Classic at Kirrawee. http://www.veedubclassic.com.au/ He stocks a lot of cooling parts.

If you get a good quality new plastic one it will last for 20 years.

I always change to S/S got mine from www.vancafe.com
I also always change to the Syncro thermostat housing as its aluminum. The 2 factory parts ar high failure points and will cook an engine in no time. I am hesitant to sell used plastic ones as are a failure waiting to happen. Even new ones failed in less than 20 years.

Have you tried Gary at Vee Dub Classic at Kirrawee? I believe he's open over the holiday period.
