Yes we do Steve. Just organise it when I have my kombi By the way how did your bus go on the big trip?
hey! no one has mentioned the Special Guest who arrived BEFORE the Canberra crew. A red T4 turned up, and oh boy was she red, and the owner jumped out to reminisce about the kombis she owned many years ago. She saw so many of them together she just had to stop and have a look.
did you get the half throttle sorted? We drove back from Sutton Forest via Goulburn, and did we ever empathise with you when you arrived. We were in the saddle about 3 hours straight, and that road is a shocker. I don't know how you stayed sane doing it at night in a 1600 bus with only half throttle...
Now I feel bad Robert. You sure it's same road I took last October, on the way to Old Bar, via Goulburn, Oberon & Portland? Coz I found it not to bad at all..... but the Kanga Banga does corner like it's on rails, and has decent acceleration.
Now Grant. that sounds as if you are gloating about the alleged "comforts" of a T3, to say nothing of the alleged handling & power characteristics. Almost said "Stay out of it Grant"
Yeah and what happened to them they ran off to find a toilet before we went on our cruise only not to return..... I must say Grant for a Watercooled dare I say Kombi yours is a nice looking car..
It was ok, I just had to not be shy when changing back for a hill, my bus loves to rev, better than lugging I say.... Doc couldn't help himself, I wasn't even out of bed and guess who was about to change my tyre and had a head in my engine bay checking out my accelerator; or lack there of... I could drive a T3...... But I might not want to go back.... Nothing like a bit of body roll. Anyone know of pics of a bay up on two wheels?
I was trying to put all the pics that had been named and claimed sofar to encourage the others to name and claim their pics but I'm apparently not computer skilled enough to get more than one quoted post into a single post complete with picture. I will continue trying unless some nice computer savvie person can do it for me T1 Terry
This was me and my wife Mel!! Loooooong story but by the time we found a toilet up in Moss Vale and then I tried to find a coffee place so I could thaw out a bit we figured everyone would have moved on. We headed out to Robertson and out onto the coast road around Wollongong before heading home!!
Ohh that's alright, just worried that you might have got eatn by drop bears or something. we didn't get out of the cafe until 1-2ish. Hope you can make the next cruise.
