Das Resto Haus - Original Good to see the first one of the production line Al and Katie. Huge congratulations. There is no joy like that you feel when your child enters the world. Good luck for now and the future.
sleep deprivation with tears, laughter and awe along the way. Congratulations guys...the rewards are huge.

Alan and Katie, Congratulations again guys, It sure was tough not posting this news on Wednesday. I still remember the excitement when you look into their eyes for the first time. Now, it's just fear... I bet Sasa can't wait. Cam,Trace, Mia, Rahni and Roxy...
Thanks very much for the kind words everyone. We just got home from hospital and all is good - the little man has already decided he prefers splittys over teddy bears! just so you know the yellow outfit is what I wore home from hospital when I was born Al
Dreaming of how to afford a split in 18 years..."a very high paying job...or...Dad will give me one...yippee!" My personal view about how to have a great relationship with your kids (in years to come when they become adults) is to have common interests that go beyond just the fact that you are their parents! Tinkering in the shed with Kombis is right up near the top of the list! Well done guys! Rich
I love Kombiclub. Complete and partial strangers wishing each other congratulations at life's precious moments. I'll offer mine, too - congratulations! I wonder if little dubber will be restoring a new beetle 17.5 years from now! Detective dingo also spies that your contribution to Cameron's 73 DLX project started sort of 9 months ago??? Don't be embarassed, it got me worked up, too
Congrats - he is a lovely looking little fellow How sweet that he came home from hospital in the same outfit you did - thats special. I hope it made your Mum smile. There is nothing like that first drive with your precious cargo in the back I found it very nerve wracking. Heres a little poem we like to recite to new parents: Roses are Red Violets are Blue Goodbye to sleep Hello to poo! They are worth all of it.
