    Excellent Day Again!
Many Thanks to Chris and his Family for coming along, and to Warren for joining us as well.
    :)
It's always great to meet some KombiClub members in the flesh.... More of that to come!
    :D
Will put up some photos later today...Sadly I have work to do!
    :(

Terry ,good on ya mate,a dozen or so vw owners came along , as well as a couple of {i think }local old timers who were reminiscing about times long gone, and their exploits ,what an absolute joy to listen to, unfortunately i did not get their names but never mind ,their conversations and company were good, it is really great to be able to put faces to names , talking on forums is one thing ,talking face to face is by far the better thing to do and look forward many more conversations if we can organise more outings for the future so come on folks lets do it
The weather turned out fine for the day which was a bonus , Of course the conversations were centred around the vans and contents as well as any mechanical issues that were present. there were lots of photos taking and no doubt Terry will be posting a whole load of them on here in the very near future { i hope }. Many thanks to our lovely Daughter Carolyn and her Hubby David who accompanied us there and back and fed us snags and salad for lunch.

Once again thanks to Terry for organising the event and to those who turned up.:)
    Regards Chris.;)

    Chris,
Re wombats comments about meeting you in the flesh...
Thought it would have still been too cold for that in SA at present.
Regardless, hope you still got an invite to attend next year. ;)

Bloody masterchef/hells kitchen/my kitchen sux and all that other stuff someone in this house watches.....will have to make a rule that only VW stuff gets kept!

Yep Col was a good day ,i remember what Melissa said it just takes time and you got to keep at it, im not sure that was the exact words but similar , so every body seem to be speaking to every body else other so i suppose thats a good start, and those that i spoke to about sth ausie side of things appeared to agree ,but time will tell i guess,

No thunder stealing noted Chris. Your photo's are brilliant.
I kept getting waylaid each time I tried to get over to have a chat with the ladies. They were deadset funny. Bec had a good chat with them.
I have to admit that getting me into shorts even is a push until December!
