I am probably a good chance for this. Hope it warms up by then.
What do you think the record is for the most kombis on the Cadell ferry at the same time?

Dubs by the River is just over a week away. There is still accomodation available at the caravan park and the motel. The weather forecast seems to be pretty good. Seems ther are a couple of groups cruising up from Adelaide.
    Come along and join us.

    Cool Wattie.
Some of the SA VW Enthusiasts Club are coming Sunday. Heard from a few others too. Hopefully a good number of Dubs will encourage more for next year.
I'm taking a bbq if anyone needs to use it.

We had a great weekend at Morgan and the Sunday was even better, brilliant weather, good company and a good turn up of SA VW Folk.
For me I had a journey down memory lane when Keith Poole (Formula V fame) and brother Darrel turned up in beautifully presented Yellow bay camper and a type 181.
I was a racer at about the same time as Keith (early 70's) so jogged the memory a bit.
The Morgan CP was right next door to where we displayed on a nice grassed picnic area next to the ferry and was shaded most of the day.
A big thanks to wombatventures ( Terry & Bec Type 3 ) for organising the day and I think we all agreed that next year "IS ON"
Apologies for not remembering everyone's names, I would love to see you all and more next year. :D

    First they was two.

    Then there was more.

Glad you had a good time mate. Thanks for joining us. Already planning next year. Including VW ferry stuffing! And a cruise getting there.
Do you mind if I send a couple of your photos to River News for their article about us. Mine weren't so good.

Nothing like a lazy afternoon beside a slow river. Awesome weather for camping out.

I'm leaning more towards the 10th-11th at this stage. Haven't found any clashes with other events yet. Tending towards Sunday for cruise etc.

There is plenty of accommodation available at Morgan. Powered and unpowered sites and cabins at the caravan park. Motel and BnB's available as well.
Morgan caravan park. River frontage area. $25 per night for 2 people. There are 35 sites available in the River frontage areafor $25 per night for 2 people. I'd like to book the whole area. Contact me asap to book a site. Terry on 0413867380.

Sunday is a day to relax and socialize on the lawns by the river. Picnic or BBQ, and there are plenty of takeaway options available.
