Excellent Tom! This what community is about, helping and looking out for each other.

Love it - Love it - Love it.

With the continual growth of the Kombi Club the day might not be to far away were "Member of The Kombi Club" on a CV will virtually guarantee them the job.

I can hear the employer now "I see you are a member of the Kombi Club - that's just the kind of person we want, the job's yours" :)

    Great idea Tom.

So if I was looking for a particular person with certain skills to do a job, should I post it here or perhaps in the Wanted section?

Or what about if someone is looking for work, e.g. my 16 y.o. who finishes school next week? He still has TAFE (IT) at night and has part-time work at Red Rooster but I reckon he would like to find something more closely related to IT, even if just in Retail. He's continuing TAFE next year IT Cert 4 (Networking).

    Hey Tom

Hey Tom, You guys do a great job. I needed assistance the other day when I ran out of gas and RACQ was great. So happy I had ultra cover. Unfortunately for the RACQ guy he also broke down with Gav on the back and had to change a tyre without tools. Never had so much fun breaking down with Lorraine, Curtis and two dogs in tow. Later that same day I got bogged and needed to be towed out of sand. I was indeed the weakest link of the Tragical Mystery tour.

Anyway great idea for job search. I am finally looking for work also and seeing as I am mobile it can really be anywhere in Aust. I can do anything from hospitality (owned two restaurants), bookkeeping(had bookkeeping business and still have ABN), MYOB set up and tutoring, Adminiatration, newspaper page layout and advertising, builders labourer, fruit picking or any labour work.

I am in Airlie Beach at the moment but am willing to go anywhere (it is a bit hot up here). My phone when it is in reception area is 0406 779 337.

    Cheers,

    Jules

Hi Baz, tell him to try and avoid getting a level 1 help desk role in a call centre type environment,... he'll get stuck there for years. Better to get a junior role even part time in a small company.
As far as a job, sorry, I'm in Melbourne and had a pos which was filled late last year.

Hi The Invisible Smith, for people in Vic, you might want to check out http://www.filmmelbournedirectory.com/
(yes I am affiliated, but gain no personal value by it's use)

    Cheers,

I have just been informed by the woman who works with me Thursday afternoons and all day Fridays that she is handing in her notice. Her other job has offered her a position that will take her to full time.

I am looking for someone to work in a specialist medical office, to answer phones, type letters, make appointments, handle accounts, get the doctor his lunch - general office type of work. I would also ask you to do holiday relief and sick relief (if needed). So at the moment its 12 hours per week but it could become more. Would suit someone who didn't have to travel too far to Swansea.

I have just lost my job in Brisbane, so if anyone knows of any postions in the Brisbane/Gold coast area then that would be great. I have plenty of years of experience in accounts/admin but am willing to do anything. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers guys
