VW Australia had already stopped selling them here a while back. The new beetles won't keep their value like the original beetles and new beetles are suffering from lots of plastic parts breaking down. Electric windows are terrible, plastic door panels and interior handles breaking, the dreaded soft touch that has gone sticky but apart from that - they are great to drive!

They will never be a 'classic' but they are better than the bad wrap they got.

We had. TDi for 10years from new and loved it.

Personally I liked the 2nd generation of the first model.
This was the one we had. 2008.
