They could be friends with a clip or two.
Damn 2 piece boards! Taken a few of those home!
That's a mighty clean break...
Been staying away from Duranbah with the Quicky Pro on at the moment and been getting some great small waves between Currumbin and Kirra the last 3 days.
Another great surf trip at Yuraygir National Park. Such an epic place.
Got the last 2 mornings with beautiful off shore conditions but now unfortunately the Northerly winds have returned - much to the delight of the Kite Surfers. Its got me buggered how they don't kill each other........ (On a side note - Dunno if this beer fridge in the Kombi is a good idea LOL)
Oh it's a good idea alright, j just ask any dedicated beer drinker.
It seems to me that it's bummer when surf is shot, but it's bloody triffic when the Kombi has a working beer fridge to compensate.lol.
Aren’t clear glass bottles easier to see through, whilst you are driving though?
Adding to the surf stories.
I am lucky enough to be on beautiful simeulue island nth sumatra.
2 weeks with my son chasing the surf at www.saltsurfresort.com
Not much swell here right now, 2 small surfs, but it has all the makings of a truly memorable experience. It reminds be a bit of bali in the 80s. Motorbiking to the breaks carrying our boards, passing water buffalo and the goats won't move from the road so you have to go around them.
Thats pretty special mate - going on a surf trip with your son. Enjoy and post some pics when the waves arrive.
Ahh that sence of humour . Brown bottles r like Sun shades Grant.
Did two weeks in Samoa with our eldest instead of him going to schoolies about ten years ago.....
He and six of his mates and two Dads had THE best trip.....we scored swell and the sons had a blast !
Something I would encourage every surfing Dad to do.....
Managed to jag a few waves this morning in between showers. Theres some swell predicted so fingers crossed............
