Finding VW Part Number

    Finally found what I'm looking for :D

    This site cross references the VW parts drawings against VW part numbers and also, as an extra bonus, it cross references those against aftermarket manufacturer part numbers :D:D:cool:

    Find yourself a Leistritz muffler. The centre outlet mufflers were 1700 and early 1800 only. They are out there.

    I have both the microfiche and all the parts books from 1948 onward.

    Folks.. vw was a hardcore cut price manufacturer back then... if you think that your glowing 600c muffler doesnt need separation from the fan tinware... then....you know what to do.:);):confused:
