I taken my 11 year old niece to her year 6 formal last Wednesday. The story started 7 months ago when my sister asked her Daughter "did you want me to take you to your formal". My sister has a 74 1300 beetle P8010169.JPG
My niece is normally a quite spoken girl, but the answer my sister got was not it was "NO Uncle's car". It made my sister take a backward step with the answer.
My sister was telling me what had happen above one day and I told my sister that my niece "has to ask me to take her to her formal".
It wasn't until 4 months ago that my sister and I where chatting .My sister asked "has she asked yet "(niece) "no"I said . Off goes my sister to remind my niece that she has to ask. I knew what was happening. Few moments later I got a quite voice "can you take me to my formal" Playing the game that I wasn't paying attention said"beg you pardon " To try make her say it again and a bit louder. Of course I said "yes" I got the biggest grin:D and hug.
    I was chuffed of course K601 Laura formal 2017.jpg K602Laura formal 2017.jpg K606 Laura formal 2017.jpg K608 Laura formal 2017.jpg

    I love it!

I’ve got graduation ‍ at RMIT (working) but I was wondering whether you could drive me?

I need to be there by 4pm, so if you haven’t left home yet giddy up!

I also prefer an Avacado DC :)

It isn't to much longer and they will be able to drive. The older niece have already hinted they want a beetle like mummy but blue.

Well done, and you looked fab too. Nice to see an eleven year old dressed in an age appropriate dress, she looked beautiful and so did the Kombi. Keep that suit you are going to need it again and again. :)
