You won’t see any sandpaper used by the drivers........they don’t cheat like that in F1.
Yeah Grant, Vettel admitted he got lucky ....... ...... Mercedes I heard one story blamed software
Here's an article received today through SpeedCafe - https://www.speedcafe.com/2018/03/29/mercedes-admits-calculation-bug-cost-hamilton-victory/
Vettel wasn’t actually in front, he was just leading after the others had pitted, and without any safety car, after he pitted, he wouldn’t have been in front.
When he came out of the pits in front, during the VSC, he was then infact now leading the race in first place, and had “overtaken” Hamilton.
Roll on Bahrain.
Bahrain results threw in a couple of surprises.
After the DNF’s, Fernando Alonso is 4th in the WDC, and McLaren is 3rd in the WCC.
Gasly’s 5th place finish in a Honda powered Torro Rosso, was an impressive result.
Cool and even damp in practice in China today.........
Ferrari 1. Mercedes next. Red Bull disaster!
Red Bull can’t afford disasters like that, and expect to challenge for a championship.
Ferrari win was the only consolation for me..
Would love nothing more than for Kimi to take out the 2018 WDC in the Ferrari........(Doubt Ferrari will let that happen).
I’m an ABV fan of late. (Anyone But Vettel).
Red Bull didn't give Dan wings
Too much technology and electrics & everyone knows what a pain auto electrics are
Brilliant drive by Danny Ricciardo to win the China GP!
Really enjoyable to watch...
Just seen it on the news - Awesome effort ...... he didn't look half happy spraying the champers
A little disappointed in Ricciardo’s move on Verstappen in that it wasn’t the best judgement of all time. However, Verstappen should not have made the second move to the left in the braking zone. As per earlier in the race, Verstappen’s defence of his position against a team mate was over the top. It left Ricciardo no place to go after committing and was always at high risk of taking both cars out. And Ricciardo probably felt he had to make a strong decisive move preferably up the inside after almost being run into the outside fence by Verstappen at least once, so I can understand why Ricciardo committed to such a move.
Teamwork when both want to win.
Couldn’t find a channel to see it in Marrakech, Morocco.....
Wow, after watching RPM yesterday arvo and seeing the 2 Toro Rosso cars in an incident, never thought the Red Bull ones would end up nose to tailing it also
Max Verstappen possibly needs a few words of advice about F1 race craft?
See what happens in Spain this weekend.......
Its catching in Moto GP as well.
Thursdays practice sessions from Monaco, have left the teams other than Red Bull on the back foot, to see if they can find a way to match the mechanical grip Red Bull have displayed.
Danny Ricciardo was not only quickest in both sessions, but also broke the track record in session 2.
And again, it practice 3 today, he has gone even quicker, being not only the quickest on the day, but set another new fastest ever track record.
Qualifying at 11pm tonight should be fun.
