Remember first time I saw Max and thought he was one to watch. French GP was a dodgy start going off on corner 2 but exciting last lap pass. Ferrari a bit disappointing? Was worth a watch.

Mercedes big error - leaving BOTH cars out, when Red Bull changed to a two stopper.

Congrats to Danny Ricciardo winning the Italian GP. Nice to hear the OZ anthem on the podium.

Excellent result for him and Team McLaren, with a 1, 2 finish, and the bonus point for fastest lap. Maximum available points in a single race - well done! :)

9 long years between drinks, for McLaren.

I think the Max / Lewis encounter and subsequent exit from the race, made the task a little easier for the McLarens, but you have to remember Danny started P2, managed to take the lead from Max on the first lap, and was holding the lead successfully from Max. Norris was also defending well from Lewis, as he did in the sprint qually race. :)

Wasn’t like the McLarens did a “Bradbury” - they were already in front. ;)

And that disgusting “shoey”, was only something Danny copied from MotoGP - Jack Miller was the first to do it, and now no longer does it, coz Danny does it.

Just watched the replay. Managed not to hear the result so it was a nice surprise to see Dan just about lead from the start. Bit of rough and tumble from a few of the runners!
Great drive from Bottas to get a third but Verstappen and Hamilton helped. Enjoyed the race. Almost as good as the Moto GP finish!

Moto GP wow what a race, those that didn't watch the race missed a cracker, two riders ( Bagnaia & Marques) displaying skills beyond belief at 300+ ks on motorcycles that defy science.

And the winners, 1 Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) 2 Mark Marques (Honda)

This was an amazing race. Unlucky Jack went deep on a turn and lost his 3rd place.

Just watched the replay of the Brazilian GP, coz the live race start 4am Monday, was even too much for a diehard F1 fan like me.

Great to see a real battle at the pointy end, and looking like going right down to the wire, for the last 3 races of the season, to reveal the WDC winner!

Roll on Qatar next weekend. :)

So, miss a waved yellow flag, or worse, miss a double yellow waved flag, at the end of qualifying, and the grid changes a lot, after the grid place penalties are applied……

30 minutes till the lights go out for this one live from Qatar. :)

I think Verstappen must be wishing for a Hamilton DNF in the next 2 races….If Hamilton repeats the performance and result he’s had in the last two races, again in the next two - there’ll be no WDC for Verstappen.

If Verstappen made up 4 places to come second behind the most humble one, Hamilton might not have an easy run to the end. Personally, Id love to see Hamilton put back in his box so his swelled head can come back down to size.

Mercedes’ front row lockout, for the penultimate race in Saudi Arabia tomorrow! :)

If Hamilton wins this one, with the fastest lap point bonus, and Verstappen comes second………………… they will go into the final race next weekend, on equal points! :D

Best battle at the pointy end I’ve seen for many years. ;)

Well, that was as good as it gets………… Def not just cars going round and round! :D

Not convinced that the current leader in the championship, behaved in a sportsman’s like manner, and wasn’t more concerned about a “win at any cost”, but didn’t succeed. o_O

So next weekend, the two remaining title contenders for 2021 World Driver Champion, line up on the starting grid, with exactly the same points………GAME ON! :)

My only concern, is if Verstappen repeats the stunt he pulled in Italy, taking Hamilton & himself out of the race, they will both finish the season on equal points, and the WDC would then be decided on race wins in 2021, of which Verstappen has one more than Hamilton. :(

Just watched the Saudi replay. Not a fan of street circuits like this. Small clip and into the wall and a yellow or red.
Lots of aggression! Result certainly sets it up for an interesting next race.

Quite a different track from the usual “Tilkedromes” that Hermann Tilke has designed in the past, and why they needed a “street circuit” in Jedda, with so much open land surrounding the town, is still a bit beyond me. o_O

If he was aiming at carnage, for any momentary lapse of concentration….he got it! No where to relax and take a breath, on that track- REALLY tough circuit, to keep focussed for a full race distance.

I see it’s also the venue for Race 2 of the 2022 calendar.

I’ll be up to the wee small hours next Sunday / Monday , to see the season finale live…….. but as always, will not post till Monday night, to not give any “spoilers” for those waiting to see the replay. ;)
